Mon activité scientifique porte un intérêt particulier à l’évolution des processus immunitaires, et la compréhension de la réponse immunitaire innée et sa régulation chez les invertébrés dans le modèle: mollusque Biomphalaria glabrata et son trématode parasite Schistosoma mansoni. Dans ce modèle, j’étudie les mécanismes qui déterminent le polymorphisme de compatibilité, la spécificité et la régulation de la réponse immunitaire innée. Je mène également des approches sur les mécanismes moléculaires de la réponse immunitaire mémoire ou priming chez B.glabrata. J’ai développé récemment des collaborations où cette question sera abordée dans le priming immunitaire antiviral chez le mollusque Crassostrea gigas et dans le priming immunitaire trans-générationnel (PITG) chez le coléoptère Tenebrio molitor.

Pour réponde à ces questions, différentes approches moléculaires comparatives ont été développées aux niveaux : génomique (DNAseq), transcriptomique (RNASeq, QRT-PCR) et protéique (enrichissement, 2D-DIGE, interactome). Nous développons également des approches fonctionnelles : protéines recombinantes, ARN interférence, culture in vitro.
