Présentation
The main line of my research is the study of the links between the physical act of speech and the representations of sound structures, namely phonological and lexical, by analysing the physiological, acoustic and perceptive mecanisms and information involved in the lexical recognition processes. My current topics concern (i) the production, perception and recognition of voicing contrast in 'altered' voice: whispered, laryngectomized, apraxic speech ; (iii) the aerodynamics of nasality (Southern French and speech disorders) and of trills (speech sound emergence) and ejectives in African languages.
