Présentation
Xavier Lagrange received the Engineering Degree from [Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures](http://www.ecp.fr/index_html_en), Paris, France, in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree from [TELECOM Paristech](http://www.telecom-paristech.fr/en/) in 1998. He was the head of the ["**Networks, Security and Multimedia**" Departement](http://international.telecom-bretagne.eu/welcome/research/departments/networks-security-multimedia/index.php) of TELECOM Bretagne at Rennes from 2003 till 2009. Xavier Lagrange joined Alcatel Radiotelephone in 1985, then Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Télécom Paris). Since 2000, he has been professor at IMT Atlantique (formely known as Telecom Bretagne) at "Network Systems, Cybersecurity and Digital Law" in the Rennes Campus.
Xavier Lagrange is the head of research group [ADOPNET](https://www-adopnet.irisa.fr) of [IRISA](http://www.irisa.fr).
Xavier Lagrange is the first co-autor of a book on GSM and GPRS published by Hermes Science Publications (translated in Chinese and Published by PHEI) and of several international publications. His domain of interest includes resource allocation, medium access control and performance analysis for 3rd and 4th generation cellular networks, wireless systems, ad-hoc networks and WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network). He is a senior member of IEEE.
