Warith Harchaoui is a scientist and enthusiast in artificial intelligence who has built his career between academic research and business pragmatism. In 2008, he obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (MVA). After several experiences in the field of Computer Vision (Philips Healthcare, Aldebaran Robotics), he decided to pursue his research endeavor at the École Normale Supérieure de Paris at the Willow laboratory (INRIA / CNRS) with a Microsoft Research funding. Later, he builds a professional career in Data Science at Oscaro.com (world leader in e-commerce of car parts) from 2014 to 2020. While keeping his operational responsibilities, he joined the MAP5 laboratory of the University of Paris to accomplish his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from 2016 to 2020. Today, his work in image, sound, video and text processing encouraged him to embrace a new dream: bringing his expertise from artificial intelligence into the real world for customers and companies.
Warith Harchaoui est un scientifique enthousiaste de l'intelligence artificielle qui bâtit sa carrière entre la recherche académique et le pragmatisme des entreprises. En 2008, Il obtient un Master de Mathématiques Appliquées à l'École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (MVA). Après plusieurs expériences dans le domaine de la Computer Vision (Philips Healthcare, Aldebaran Robotics), il décide de poursuivre ses recherches à l'École Normale Supérieure de Paris au laboratoire Willow (INRIA / CNRS) avec un financement Microsoft Research. Plus tard, il construit sa carrière en Data Science chez Oscaro.com (leader mondial du e-commerce de pièces détachées automobiles) de 2014 à 2020. Tout en gardant ses responsabilités opérationnelles, il rejoint le laboratoire MAP5 de l'Université de Paris pour accomplir son doctorat en mathématiques appliquées de 2016 à 2020. Aujourd'hui, ses travaux en traitement des images, du son, des vidéos et du texte l'encouragent à embrasser un nouveau rêve : apporter son expertise en intelligence artificielle dans le monde réel pour les consommateurs et les entreprises.
