Ulrike Zeigermann is a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer in political science at the University of Magdeburg focusing on international knowledge circulation and norm transfer processes in interdisciplinary sustainability research. Key areas of interest are international sustainability and development policies, human rights, and theories of global governance. She has previously held academic positions at the universities of Surrey, Münster, Koblenz-Landau, Berlin, and at the OECD in Paris.

From 2015 to 2017 Ulrike co-managed the research group “Public Policy and Knowledge Circulation” at the Centre Marc Bloch. Afterwards, she joined the research group “Crisis and Constitution of Social Order” at the CMB and engages in questions of peace and security studies as Associate Researcher at the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate.

Ulrike Zeigermann holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Münster (2017). In her dissertation she examined the ‘Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development’ concept.  She received her MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her double diploma degree in Political Science/European Studies from Sciences Po Lille and the University of Münster.
