––––––––––––––

I am an urbanist who lived and worked in Germany, China, Malawi, Uganda, the Netherlands, and now France. During my stay abroad in Shanghai and subsequent work in Lilongwe, I developed an intense curiosity to understand how our global cities work and what is needed for more sustainability and inclusiveness.

This resulted in co-founding the think tank Urban Framework, focusing my studies in Germany on urban research in the Global South while completing an MSc in Urban Management and Development to understand the multiple dimensions which interplay in the urban realm. Along this path, I worked in various positions related to urban research, design and development, attended and organised workshops, wrote papers, and presented at several conferences. These activities culminated in my current activity as PhD candidate on Urban Mobility Futures.

Since October 2020, I am based in Paris pursuing a PhD at the Anthropolis Chair, co-managed by IRT SystemX and LGI, CentraleSupélec, University Paris Saclay, on the topic of developing human-centred scenarios for Future Urban Mobility. With an urbanism background, the focus lies on understanding spatial, socio-economic, and technological trends in the field of urban mobility to co-create scenarios that can inform policy-making, as well as service design. The goal is to develop a methodology that can be applied in Paris Saclay and tested in other contexts.
