Domaines de compétences

Etude et modélisation des cycles du carbone, de l’azote et du soufre dans les sols. Facteurs de la décomposition des matières organiques notamment les litières et résidus végétaux. Effets des pratiques agricoles sur les fonctions de décomposition, et sur le cycle interne de l'azote du sol (minéralisation, organisation, nitrification), relations avec les communautés microbiennes des sols. Traçage isotopique stable (13C et 15N).

Dynamique de l’azote dans les sols, fertilisation azotée des cultures. Participation au développement d’outils d’aide à la décision pour la gestion de l’azote en sols cultivés.
