Since the beginning of her carrier (2002), Roualdes has worked on the synthesis by PECVD and characterization of ceramic, hybrid or polymeric thin layers for membrane applications in environment and energy fields (fuel cells since 2002 and water splitting since 2017). She has taken part into 21 institutional projects (involving around 50 partners in total) among which 3 as coordinator (1 Cellule Energie CNRS, 1 Institut Carnot Chimie Balard Cirimat, 1 Region) and 5 as scientific responsible for IEM (1 European FP7, 2 ANR, 1 CNRS and 1 Région Occitanie); 14 projects have been related to the hydrogen field (10 on fuel cells, 4 on water splitting). These projects have led to 66 papers in A-level journals, 5 patents and 5 chapters in books, and have involved around 50 non-permanent staff (9 PhD) under her supervision.
