### POSITION
- Currently on a long-term scientific mission at QBI, UQ, Australia (2022/2023)
- Research engineer in [Laboratoire de psychologie cognitive](https://lpc.univ-amu.fr/) at [Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique](http://www.cnrs.fr/) (CNRS) and [Aix-Marseille University](http://www.univ-amu.fr/), France. I am in charge of the [Experimentation and Analysis Service](https://lpc.univ-amu.fr/fr/service-experimentation-analyse)
### BIO
After a degree in [physics](https://sciences.univ-reunion.fr/presentation) (1997) and [biomedical engineering](https://www.univ-tlse3.fr/master-electronique-energie-electrique-automatique-parcours-radiophysique-medicale-et-genie-biomedical) (medical imaging, 1999), I worked as a [database manager](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2nd_Marine_Infantry_Parachute_Regiment). In 2001, I was appointed by CNRS as a [software engineer](http://metiersit.dsi.cnrs.fr/index.php?page=ficheemploitype&codeEmploi=E2C45&idFamillePro=20&codeBAP=E&codeFamille=C) in a cognitive psychology lab (~20 permanent researchers). I mainly analysed data and wrote computer programs for the different recording devices I managed ([eletroencephalography](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electroencephalography), [ocular movements](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_movement), [behavior](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_behavior)). I started to be interested in the various research topics the lab I worked in covered with a particular focus on [psycholinguistics](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psycholinguistics). While still working, I enrolled in a [PhD program in neuroscience](https://ecole-doctorale-62.univ-amu.fr/), which was completed it in 2008 ([abstract](http://www.sudoc.fr/131402390)), and competed for a research engineer position at CNRS I obtained in 2010. I am since a biological data analyst. I am particularily interested in developing novel methods of data acquisition and data processing for the study of language and cogntion.
