Sophie M. Prud'Homme - CV

I’m an Assistant Professor in environmental toxicology and ecotoxicology at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Environnements Continentaux (LIEC) - Université de Lorraine/CNRS, Metz, France.

I am interested in direct and transgenerational consequences of environmental concentrations of organic micropollutants, more specifically endocrine disruptors, on vertebrate and invertebrate organisms. I am more particularly interested in investigating the molecular mechanisms involved in those impacts. The final goal of my research is to evidence le link between molecular events and phenotypic changes at individual level through integrative approaches, associating individual traits measurement, to molecular scale assessment, taking advantage of untargeted molecular apporaches (omics).

I am also interested in understanding the long-term consequences of multigenerational exposure of populations on microevolutionary processes. I notably wonder if understanding response mechanisms to short term chronic exposure could provide clues to foresee and understand microevolutionary consequences of multigenerational exposure.
