Since 2001, I am a professor of biostatistics and environmental epidemiology of the school of Public (EHESP) with a PhD in biomathematics (1999). I teach epidemiology and biostatistics for all public health professionals of EHESP and have structured my research activity on the environmental and social health inequalities issue. Started in 2008, my research project, named Equit’Area, aimed to investigate the role of the cumulative environmental nuisances in the social health inequalities in France. I am also a member of two European experts groups: one focusing on the current status of the environmental inequalities in Europe and the second one on the drivers of health equity across the WHO European Region (This work will feed into the design of the European Health Equity Status Report).
