Born in 1982, Samuel Challéat is a PhD in geography, a guest researcher in the GEODE laboratory (Environmental Geography, UMR 5602 CNRS-University of Toulouse 2) and coordinator of the RENOIR Research group. His current work focuses on the various actions carried out by territories to preserve darkness, enhance the night-time environment and fight against light pollution. He is also the author of the general public book entitled Sauver la nuit.
