Born in 1973 in Prato (Italy, EU), Riccardo Scorretti is CNRS researcher with Laboratoire Ampère - UMR 5005 CNRS, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, European Union. He worked in 2005 at LEG (now G2E-LAb, University of Greboble, France) and in 2009 at ACE (Institut Montefiore, Unversity of Liège, Belgium) as visiting researcher.
Erasmus student with Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon in 1998-1999, he got a Laurea (= master degree) in informatic engineering from University of Florence in 1999, then a PhD in electrical engineering with the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2003, and a bachelor in biochemistry with University of Lyon in 2009.
He has taken / is taking on researches on numerical modeling, and in particular on fracture of heterogeneous materials (1998 - 2004), magnetic materials (2008 - now) and numerical dosimetry of electromagnetic fields (2000 - now).
His teaching activity deals mainly with computational electromagnetism and informatics.
