Pierre-Alexandre Gagnaire

Born 07/02/1982

CNRS Researcher

UMR5554 – Montpellier Institute for Evolutionary Sciences, University of Montpellier, France

Research area

My research focuses on the evolutionary processes involved in adaptation and speciation, with a particular interest in the population genetic mechanisms underlying the build-up of reproductive isolation between divergent populations. Related interests concern the inference of the demographic history, the molecular evolution and the genetic architecture of phenotypic traits involved in local adaptation. My approaches are based on the analysis of population genomic data.
