Omar Al Hammal -- IPSA


My first research was on statistical mechanics of non-equilibrium phase transitions and applications of statistical tools and modelling to theoretical ecology. My worked focused on efficient computational methods and has lead me to work on parallel programming and General Purpose GPU programming. 

Since I started working at IPSA, I work on applying deep learning to nuclear physics and to develop predictive tools that can help experimental researcher. I also apply deep learning to unsupervised change detection in satellite images.
