Nicolas Ducros, University of Lyon, Creatis laboratory


I received an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, both from Strasbourg University, France, in 2006. I obtained my PhD in Electrical Engineering from Lyon University, in 2009, with a thesis on time-resolved fluorescence molecular tomography, which won the Best Thesis Award of the French Section of the IEEE EMBS. From 2009 to 2012, I held a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Physics of the Politecnico Milan in Italy, where I worked on structured light for diffuse optics. In 2013, I joined the Micro Technologies for Biology and Healthcare Division at CEA Grenoble, France, working on spectral X-ray non-destructive testing. Since 2014, I have been an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of Lyon University and with the Biomedical Imaging Laboratory CREATIS.

My research interests include medical imaging, signal and image processing, and inverse problems, with particular emphasis on single-pixel imaging and spectral computed tomography.
