*Myriam BEN SAAD is an associate professor in economics at ESPI Paris. She is an economist econometer at the ESPI2R laboratory. She obtained her doctorate in economics in 2017 from the University of Toulon. In addition, she is an associate researcher at the University Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) and an economist at FEMISE (Euromediterranean Forum of Institutes of Economic Sciences). His research interests focus on environmental economics, econophysics, international trade, regional economics, development economics, finance, and governance. Since 2017, she has been an analyst and project manager for the European Commission-FEMISE on projects highlighting the causal relationship between renewable energies and economic growth in MENAs, and also the dynamics of economic complexity and its spatial effects. His research combines both econometric analysis and macroeconomic theory. In addition, she conducted a study for the United Nations on the existence of an acceleration process in the economic system, using theoretical physics.*
