Ludovic-Alexandre VIDAL est né le 13 janvier 1983.
Après des classes préparatoires au Lycée **Louis-Le-Grand** à Paris, il intègre l’**Ecole Centrale Paris** d’où il ressort diplômé en 2005. Parallèlement, il obtient en 2003 une licence de mathématiques fondamentales à l’Université d’Orsay-Paris Sud et son master recherche en Génie Industriel en 2005.
Entre janvier 2006 et décembre 2009, il a effectué une thèse de doctorat au Laboratoire Génie Industriel de l’Ecole Centrale Paris.
Ses travaux de recherche portent depuis lors sur la prise en compte de la **complexité dans le management de projet**, et tout particulièrement dans le management des **risques projet** compte tenu de la complexité des projets (et tout particulièrement de les complexité induite par les **interactions/interfaces entre parties prenantes multiples**). Il vise aussi à mieux appréhender les **mécanismes de création de valeurs** dans les projets et organisation complexes, en modélisant au mieux ce processus et développant des approches pour mieux l'évaluer et la favoriser.
Ludovic-Alexandre est par ailleurs **auteur et adaptateur** de théâtre musical en France et à l'étranger.
Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal was born on 13 January 1983.
After preparatory classes at the Lycée Louis-Le-Grand in Paris, he entered the Ecole Centrale Paris from which he graduated in 2005. At the same time, he obtained a bachelor's degree in fundamental mathematics from the University of Orsay-Paris Sud in 2003 and a research master's degree in Industrial Engineering in 2005.
Between January 2006 and December 2009, he completed a doctoral thesis at the Industrial Engineering Laboratory of Ecole Centrale Paris.
Since then, his research work has focused on taking **complexity** into account in **project management**, and particularly in **project risk management**, given the complexity of projects (and particularly the complexity induced by **interactions/interfaces between multiple stakeholders**). He also aims to better understand the **mechanisms of value creation** in complex projects and organizations, by better modeling this process and developing approaches to better assess and promote it.
Ludovic-Alexandre is also an author and adapter of musical theatre in France and abroad.
