Associate Professor Dr. Kévyn JOHANNES


I am actually associate professor at the Centre for Energy and Thermal Sciences of Lyon (CETHIL) and i am currently the leader of the group Thermic and energy in buildings and their environment.

My research is focused on thermal energy storage for buildings and district. I am interested in sensible, latent and thermochemical heat storage. The latest is today the main concern of my research activity. I have been involved in both experimental (thermodynamic, kinetic characterisation, compact system characterisation) and numerical development (Latice Boltzman Method, Reduced Order Model).
