My transdisciplinary research activity:

·         Honeybee: study of both the visual guidance and navigational systems with F. Ruffier.

·         Birds: study of the altitude control system by the vision with F. Ruffier.

·         Fly: study and modeling of the coordination of the head and body saccades with F. Ruffier and S. Viollet.

·         Human: study of the informational clues used during spatial navigational tasks with A. Morice and G. Montagne.

·         Computational modeling: simulation with Matlab/Simulink software of visuomotor feedback loops mimicking animal behavior.

·         Sensors: development and design of bio-inspired sensors inspired from insects, especially optic flow sensors or bio-inspired artificial retinae with T. Raharijaona, F. Ruffier, and S. Viollet.

·         Robots: embodiment of our computational modeling on-board various small robots mimicking animal behavior, especially micro flying robots, micro air vehicle (MAV), or unmanned guided vehicle (UGV) with T. Raharijaona,  F. Ruffier, and  S. Viollet.

·         Honeybee visual guidance in the horizontal plane with F. Ruffier and N. Franceschini.

·         Regionalization of the visual information about the honeybee’s autopilot (ALIS autopilot) with G. Portelli, F. Ruffier, and N. Franceschini.
