Présentation

I'm a theoretical quantum physicist (CNRS scientist, CRCN) at the Université de Strasbourg in France. I work at the Institut de Science et d'Ingénierie Supramoléculaires (ISIS) in the Laboratoire de Physique Quantique. My main research interest is the theory of quantum many-body physics. I'm, interested in far-from-equilibrium dynamics in many-body models, which I study by utilizing numerical methods and quantum optics tools \[e.g.: matrix product states (MPS)/tensor networks, truncated Wigner approximations (DTWA), quantum trajectories, ...\]. Applications of my work are in the fields of (ultra-)cold atom physics and molecular polaritonics. **Links:** **[Google scholar](https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=eEa7H34AAAAJ) [Publication list on arXiv](https://arxiv.org/a/schachenmayer_j_1.html) [Orcid Profile](https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9420-5768) [Group page: qmtheory.fr](https://qmtheory.fr/)** **Career steps:** \- Habilitation (2019): Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR), Université de Strasbourg. \- CNRS (2016): Tenured researcher position in Strasbourg. \- Post-doc (2013-2016): JILA, Boulder, CO, US (group of A.
