Présentation
I have been working in aquatic ecology for over 20y, with particular interest on fish populations of high conservation value, notably diadromous species. I seek to understand how interactions within and between species and their environment shape life history patterns at population level and drive food web structure and functioning. I use different tools such as stable isotopes and eDNA to test hypotheses on trophic interaction, energy source and transfer through populations, within and across aquatic ecosystems, and interferences from human activities (eutrophication, fragmentation, climate). I currently lead a large, multidisciplinary scientific project in France on River Selune restoration after dam removals. I also lead applied research on biodiversity sampling methods, ecological services associated with aquatic ecosystems and the way to restore them.
