Notice des travaux


J.-P. FRANCOISE a contribué à incorporer les avancées de la théorie des singularités dans la domaine des équations différentielles. Il a appliqué ses travaux à la modélisation en physique, mécanique et biologie.

 

1-Développement des méthodes de la théorie des singularités dans le champ des équations différentielles: finitude Noethérienne et ideal de Bautin, inégalité de Lojasiewicz, ensembles sous-analytiques, problèmes au bord pour les équations d'Abel analytiques, théorème de division par un idéal, théorème de résolution d'Hironaka, espace des arcs de Nash.

2-Contributions en physique mathématique et mécanique (travaux sur les systèmes Hamiltoniens, peakons périodiques, exactitude de la phase stationnaire, monodromie).

3-Modélisation en biologie (théorie des oscillations, modèle de Guyton défini par un grand nombre d'équations différentielles et d'inégalités algébriques).
