Introduction

J.-P. FRANCOISE a contribué à incorporer les avancées de la théorie des singularités dans le domaine des équations différentielles. Il a appliqué ses travaux à la modélisation en physique, mécanique et biologie.

1-Incorporer les avancées de la théorie des singularités aux équations différentielles (finitude Noethérienne dans les équations différentielles, inégalité de Lojasiewicz, ensembles sous-analytiques, problèmes aux bord pour les équations d'Abel, théorème de division par un idéal, théorème de résolution d'Hironaka, espace des arcs de Nash).

 

2-Contributions en physique mathématique et mécanique (travaux sur les systèmes Hamiltoniens, peakons-périodiques, exactitude de la phase stationnaire, monodromie)

 

3-Modélisation en biologie (théorie des oscillations, modèle de Guyton défini par un très grand nombre d'équations différentielles et d'inégalités algébriques).
