Determination of regulation mechanisms”.

Scientist in charge of research programs on:

1-    production of substrates for mushroom cultivation, adaptation of mushrooms to these substrates, interactions between mushrooms and the microorganisms in their environment, mushroom genetics.

2-    microbial interactions around fungi of the genus Fusarium leading to the regulation of the production and degradation of mycotoxins in cereal grains. Since 2012.

·       Enzyme production by fungi and nutritive adaptation to the lignocellulosic cultivation substrates (1996-2000).

·       Interactions between cultivated mushrooms and other fungi (1996-2010).

·       Agaricus bisporus Genetics: selection for resistance to pathogens and mushroom quality (2002-2014).

·       Biodegradation of Fusarium mycotoxins by microbial communities in silages (2012-2016).

 2007 - 2009: project manager, research contract with the company EuroShiitake : ‘Valorisation of shiitake by-products by producing high quality raw materials for nutraceutics’.

2006 – 2010: Coordinator, Action ECOS-Nord (M.A.E.) M06A01: ‘biodiversity of Mexican Agaricus, selection of A. bisporus and other species adapted for cultivation un sub-tropical areas’.

2009 - 2012: Coordinator ANR-Blanc-International, France-Mexique: ‘Biology of the gourmet and medicinal mushroom Agaricus subrufescens, development of its cultivation and of new products of therapeutic interest or for diseases prevention’.

2012 - 2015: Project manager for the research contract with the company Lallemand Animal Nutrition: ‘Biodegradation of Fumonisines in high moisture maize grain silages’.

2016: Project manager for the research contract with the company SAIONAIMER: ‘effect of the treatment of maize seed with a natural fertilizer for limiting the contamination by Fusarium verticillioides and mycotoxins of the family of Fumonisins’.

2015 – 2019: project manager for the research contract with the company France Morilles: ‘Characterisation and stabilisation of new strains of Morchella sp, adapted to a large scale production process’.

2018 – 2020: coordinator of a collaborative project France/Tunisia (PHC Utique): ‘Controlling the accumulation of mycotoxins in cereals using potentialized essential oils’

2019 - 2023: Scientific coordinator of the research project ‘Mycotoxins in organic cereals produced, stored and transformed at the farm’ (funded by CASDAR).
