Présentation
As a senior researcher of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), I am currently working at the *Research Group in the Energetics of Ionized Media* (GREMI) located at the University of Orléans, France. My research topics deal with non-equilibrium – non-thermal – plasmas and plasma processes for environmental and biological purposes.
This involves the development of original plasma sources and the study of elementary processes in partially ionized gases. For instance, the induced electric field, electron properties, radiation transfer and non-equilibrium chemical kinetics governing the production of highly reactive chemical species. To this extent, I have been studying *guided ionization waves* generated either by dielectric barrier discharge or plasma jet devices (APPJ). Recent prospects are guiding my interest toward *micro-discharges* as a competitive complementary approach to develop green energy processes using plasma technologies such as *silicon-based micro-hollow cavity discharge (MHCD)*.
In this respect, my field of expertise focuses on plasma diagnostics:
- Optical Emission Spectroscopy of atomic and molecular compounds,
- line profile analysis
- ro-vibrationnal structured.
- Laser spectroscopy techniques,
- laser induced fluorescence (LIF, PLIF, TaLIF),
- absorption (UV- mid-IR),
- Rayleigh scattering.
- Imaging,
- spectrally and phase resolved optical emission spectroscopy (PROES)
- shadowgraphy, Schlieren
- Electrical diagnostics.
