Since 1993, Isabelle has been involved in geomechanical experimentations and research programmes at the Geosciences Department of the Ecole des Mines de Paris (state-owned high academy for mining and industry). She is lecturer at the Ecole des Ponts-ParisTech for Masters and other educational programs in the fields of engineering geology. Since 2019, she is in Charge of Communication for the Geoscience department of MINES ParisTech. In 1992 she passed an engineering degree in geology and mining and a master degree in mining and civil works. In 1998, she graduated with a PhD. She was appointed as training manager at the French Ministry of Industry and Finance in 2006.
