Présentation
Dr. Isabelle Laplace has been the head of a research program dedicated to the sustainable development of air transport at ENAC (French Civil Aviation University) since 2013. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toulouse (2001) and performed at ENAC.
Her research is focused on the ecological and social transition of air transport as for instance the multimodal mobility of air passengers, the impacts of green innovations and regulations on stakeholders or the societal and climate challenges of air transport. In this context, she facilitates the ESTEAM research team focused on the societal challenges of air transport.
She manages the team of the sustainable development research program and manages European research projects. She is expert in the evaluation of projects for the European Commission and is member of the Working group 1 of ACARE on “Meeting market and societal needs”. The French ministry of the ecological transition awarded her the aeronautical medal in 2020.
