**Professor, Deputy Dean of Research** **CentraleSupélec - Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes (L2S)** **Houria Siguerdidjane** is currently full Professor and Deputy Dean of Research at CentraleSupélec. Her teaching activity at the Automatic Control Department and research interests at the Signals and Systems Laboratory (L2S), include linear and nonlinear control systems and applications to aerospace, mechanical and power systems. She is an Associate Editor of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Journal Control Engineering Practice (CEP) since 2007 and she is nominated as the Vice-Chair of the IFAC Aerospace Technical Committee till July 2023. Houria Siguerdidjane, obtained the Engineering degree from Supélec (now CentraleSupélec). She received the Doctorate degree in Automatic Control and Signal Processing and the Habilitation degree (HDR) in Physics Sciences from University Paris XI (in 1998). She held an AVH Fellowship for a Post-doctoral position (from april to october 1989) in the Department of Mathematics at Technical University of Munich (TUM) where her main project concerned the optimization of aircrafts trajectories. In 1994-1995, she was on sabbatical leave at the industrial company Alstom T&D, where her main interest was the application of new concepts to improve the relaying protection performance in high voltage electrical networks. From 2011 to 2015, she was head of mission to the Director General, in charge of the projects related to Paris-Saclay University. In 2013, she was also Deputy Director of Research and Industrial Partnerships at CentraleSupélec Metz Campus. Houria Siguerdidjane has been serving, as the Chair of the IFAC *Aerospace Technical Committee* from 2006 to 2014 and member of the IFAC Policy Committee (2014-2017). She is recipient of the 2012 IFAC-France Award, the Outstanding Service Award in 2014 and the 2019 IFAC-France Service Award.
