Dr Pellet is currently a Professor in the Geosciences and Geoengineering Department at MINES Paris Tech, France. He obtained his PhD degree in Rock Mechanics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. Dr Pellet was invited as a visiting Professor to MIT, MA. He has also worked for several companies in civil engineering and in oil industry. Dr Pellet has served as a Vice President of the International Society for Rock Mechanics for Europe of which he is currently a member of the advisory board.
