Présentation

Introduction ------------ My research is focused on nanoscience and on the use of new in situ and real time experimental methods based on Low Energy Electron Microscopy and X-ray Scattering (synchrotron radiation). The goal is to study out-of-equilibrium surface phenomena at the nanometer scale. For the past 15 years, I have developed the use of in situ Grazing Incidence Small Angle X-ray Scattering to study in Fourier space in particular the self-organization of nanosize clusters and the growth of dendritic facetted structures formed during the dewetting of an unstable thin solid film. For the past 7 years, in situ Low Energy Electron Microscopy have been dedicated to surface modification studies on structural and morphological properties induced by a thermal, a chemical or an electrical stress. This research activity is mainly focused on out-of-equilibrium phenomena, e.g. the solid-solid-vapor triple line dynamics, and on the development of a setup based on holography with low energy electrons. Research carreer ---------------- **1-Mobility** After engineering studies in Physics (Grenoble Institute of Technology) then "Agrégation de Physique", I have done a **PhD at CEA-Grenoble** (2001-2004) under the supervision of Gilles Renaud and Jean-René Régnard. Title: *« Small Angle X-ray Scattering applied to the in situ growth of nanostructures: towards self-organized growth»*. 2004-2005 Post-doctoral position at the Max-Planck for Solid State physics (Stuttgart; resp. K. Kern) on *growth and characterization of two dimensionnal organometallic layers (Scanning Tunneling Microscopy)*. From 2005 to 2016 I was Associate Professor **(Habilitation, 2013)** at Aix-Marseille University. My research was done at the Interdisciplinary Center for Nanoscience of Marseille (CINaM, dir. Frédéric Fagès). **Since 2016 I am full professor**. My research is dedicated to studies on "structure and dynamics of surfaces". **2-Responsabilities** **2018-today** \- **Co-**Head of NanoMaterials Department of CINaM (30 permanent position).**** **2015-2017** \- **Head of NanoMaterials and Reactivity Department of CINaM (20 permanent position). \- Member of directory board of CINaM** (5 department heads and lab director). **2015-2019**: **National coordinator of ANR project HOLOLEEM**.
