Research area: Organisms-sediments/soils relationships
My goals are (i) to investigate the role of macrofaunal functional biodiversity on sediment and soil biogeochemistry and the resulting direct (bioturbation) and indirect (via microbial communities) effects on the fate of natural and anthropogenic organic matter and (2) to study the changes in structure and functioning of organisms/communities affected by anthropogenic inputs. My works are realized according to a interdisciplinary approach involving conceptual, experimental and numerical developments and favor collaborations with EcoLab, French and foreign colleagues.

Mes objectifs sont (i) d'étudier le rôle de la biodiversité fonctionnelle de la macrofaune sur la biogéochimie des sédiments et des sols et les effets directs (bioturbation) et indirects (via les communautés microbiennes) qui en résultent sur le devenir de la matière organique naturelle et anthropique et (2) d'étudier les changements de structure et de fonctionnement des organismes/communautés affectés par les apports anthropiques. Mes travaux sont réalisés selon une approche interdisciplinaire impliquant des développements conceptuels, expérimentaux et numériques et favorisent les collaborations au sein de mon laboratoire et avec des collègues français et étrangers.
