Elias Bou-Maroun

Elias Bou-Maroun main research focus on the development of new molecularly imprinted materials and functional materials for food applications. The developed materials are applied in pre-concentration, identification of markers in complex matrices, removal of undesirable components, encapsulation and sensing. As an analytical chemist, he uses and adapts spectroscopic and chromatographic methods to analyze and to characterize trace components in food and cosmetic matrices.
