Eve Bureau-Point conducted researches in France and South-East Asia on the circulation, use and interpretation of biomedical knowledge and technologies. She conducted specific researches on the HIV epidemic, the expert patients, colostrum, the circulation of pharmaceuticals and palliative care. She presently carries new researches on health and environment. Since she has witnessed in Cambodia a growing concern toward chemical substances in agriculture, food and the environment, she studies the interactions between humans and "pesticides" at the different steps of their circulation. She explores the social construction of health problems, by analyzing people narratives and imaginaries of pollution.
