Dimitrios Kyrginas

Dimitrios Kyrginas graduated in 2018 from the Physics department of University of Patras, Greece, specializing in photonics and lasers. He also received his MSc in 2020 in Materials Physics and Technology and Photonics on the same institution. He is now PhD candidate in LAPLACE Laboratory, Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, France. His work during his undergraduate and graduate studies was on Nonlinear Optics and characterization of the nonlinear optical properties of materials. His current work is focused on the simulation, development and optimization of solid state white light sources by coupling laser diodes with phosphors for lighting applications.
