Professor in Automatic Control, I teach in the following two institutions within the Université de Lorraine (University of Lorraine):
I am a member of the Research Center for Automatic Control which is funded by the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS in french) (The Institute for Information Sciences and Technologies) and the University of Lorraine (University of Lorraine).
From September 2017, I'm the Director of the Doctoral School IAEM Lorraine which gathers around 350 PhD students in Computer Sciences, Automatic Control, Electronic-Electrotechnic and Mathematics.
Since September 2021, I'm also co-responsible, with Marc Jungers, for the "Control, Identification, Diagnosis" department of the Research Center for Automatic Control of Nancy (70 to 80 people including 39 researchers and teacher-researchers). I had already assumed this responsibility from February 2014 to December 2017, but I had left to devote myself to the management of the IAEM Lorraine Doctoral School. The laboratory management team asked me to take over this responsibility until the end of the current contract (December 31, 2023). I belong to the management team of my lab.
I previously held research group responsibilities in my laboratory for nearly 11 years from January 2005 to December 2017. I was indeed in charge of CRAN's Working Safety and Diagnosis Working Group (SURFDIAG) with about 20 academics from January 2015 to December 2012. I then assured the co-responsibility of the "Control, Identification, Diagnosis" department (CID) of the CRAN composed of 70 to 80 people including 40 researchers and academics from February 2014 to December 2017.
I am a membre of the IFAC Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes, TC 6.4.
