 A.    PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am research director in the Inserm laboratory « Alzheimer & Tauopathies » at UMR-S1172 (Lille Neuroscience & Cognition) in Lille (Head: Luc Buée). This is a world class research laboratory interested in the molecular, cellular, and physiological aspects of Tau biology and Alzheimer related physiopathology. It is part of the Excellence Laboratory (LabEx) DISTALZ and the LICEND excellence centre for neurodegenerative diseases. I have recognized international expertise on Tau, link to metabolism & neuroinflammation and the role of purinergic signaling in neurodegeneration. I have coordinated or coordinate several projects (ANR JC 2007 ADONTAGE, ANR MALZ ADORATAU 2012; ANR ADORASTrAU 2018; CoEN EU 2020; 2 France Alzheimer Grants; 2 LECMA/AFI Grant; 1 FHU Grant; 1 Regional grant; 1 Fondation Plan Alzheimer; several PHC programs…). I am past-member of the scientific committee of the Lille University and currently member of the board of the French Society for Neuroscience, the EU “Purine Association” and the regional ethical committee. I belong to the scientific committee of several recent international meetings (NeuroFrance 2019; EU Purine meeting 2019; EMBO Taipei 2020; MMIN 2020; NeuroFrance 2021). I hold 2 patents and have published >120 peer-reviewed articles, including a significant number in the last 5 years. Among these, 1 in Nature, 1 in J Exp Med, 2 in Brain, 2 in Molecular Psychiatry, 2 in EMBO Mol Med, 2 in Human Molecular Genetics and 3 in Scientific Reports.
