I'm an ecologist and a geographer attached to the Laboratory of Social dynamics and spatial reconstruction (UMR CNRS 7533), working for the French ministry of ecology, since July 2013. I have taken the leadership of the Landscape and territories planning department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Previously, I've teaching Ecology, Natural resource management and Environmental Policies as an assistant professor at AgroParisTech and Pont ParisTech. The focus of my research examines territories as socio-ecological systems to study social, ecological, and economics interactions to understand system dynamics. I utilise both empirical (e.g. Big Data, field experiments, Enquiries) and theoretical approaches (social ecological systems, governance and commons goods) with a focus on the role of forest vegetation for advancing equity, climate change resilience, and sustainability. The focus of my research has shifted towards the interactions between ecological dynamics, stakeholder strategies and public policies, creating bridges between disciplines.
