I am an agro-economist working at improving the sustainability of farming systems. I am mainly developing mathematical programming models to investigate the consequences of production decisions on farm production, profitability and resilience, and on environmental impacts, namely on climate change. I have been involved in several national (RedSpyce, NewDeal, Poeete, Aporthe) and international (MixEnable) projects dealing with mixed crop livestock systems or multi-species livestock systems in which I studied the potential evolution of crop-livestock systems, performance of diversified systems compared to specialized ones, exchanges between specialized farms (papers are being finalized) and strategies to increase sustainability and resilience to climate change. I have worked on projects that specifically targeted the mitigation of climate change with the construction of marginal abatement cost curves (4pm: soil carbon storage, Espare: dairy production). I have also worked on multi-criteria assessment, and more particularly on feed-food competition in the European project SustainBeef.
