Christophe Lino, Postdoctoral Researcher, INRIA


Since february 2020, I am a starting research scientist at Ecole Polytechnique, a first class Computer Science school, where I am a member of the Geometric & Visual Computing group. I have formerly been a member of Prof. Tamy Boubekeur's Computer Graphics group at Télécom Paris, another first class Computer Science school of Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and a doctoral / postdoctoral researcher at Inria, the french National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology. 

My research themes are related to computer graphics, mainly 3D animation and rendering. I ambition to contribute in the provision of smart intuitive tools to digital artists (e.g. virtual production, entertainment, virtual tours / immersive experiences), from novices to experts.

My research interests include:

  • Intermediate Representations and Search Spaces, Dimensionality Reduction
  • Empirical Knowledge Formalisation: e.g. Film Grammar (shooting, lighting, film editing).
