Graduated in philosophy of science Christine Kosmopoulos is a french researcher (research enginer) at the CNRS (France). She is specialized in digital publishing, scientific information and open science for the humanities and social sciences (HSS). She is editor-in-chief of the journal Cybergeo, responsible for the CybergeoNet project and co-leader of the JournalBase project. Her research work focuses on the impact of new information and communication technologies (NICTs) in several directions: the issue of NICTs for the humanities and social sciences, digital edition, open science, the enhacement of scientific productions and quantitative scientific evaluation. She has been called upon to participate as an expert on these issues in various national and international institutions (e.g. European Research Council, European Science Foundation, University of Vienna, INED, Ministry of Research (MESRI), Réseau inter-universitaire Curie etc.)
