Chafik SAMIR


About me:

Chafik Samir is an Associate Professor (HDR) at the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA), France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Lille 1 University of Science and Technology in 2007. After spending two years as a post-doc at UCL, he joined UCA in 2009. His main research interests involve:

  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

  • Statistical Shape Analysis: Functional, curves, surfaces, 4D, etc.

  • Regression On Riemannian Manifolds

  • Functional Patterns Analysis and their applications to real world probelms
