Chafik Samir


About me:

Chafik Samir is an Associate Professor (HDR) at the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA), France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Vision from Lille 1 University of Science and Technology in 2007. After spending two years as a post-doc at UCL, he joined UCA as an Assistant Professor in 2009. His main research interests involve:

  • Statistical Shape Analysis  
  • Machine Learning
  • Regression On Riemannian Manifolds
  •  Computer vision, medical imaging, and their application to real-world problems.
