Research Activity
- In situ study in hydrothermal environment of the alteration of oceanic rocks (basalts and peridotite) by indigenous high and low temperature microorganisms: microbial diversity, imaging and study of biominerals formed.
- Impact of hydrothermal dynamics on surface and sub-surface microbial diversity of the ocean floor: microbial diversity.
- Study of neutrophil and micro-aerophilous ferrooxidizing bacteria at hydrothermal sites in the context of a slow ridge (Atlantic): isolation, culture and characterization.
