Paleobotanist, Maître de conférences at Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle and Curator of the collection of Paleobotany. I’m interested in the evolution of flora during the Cenozoic. In particular, I am developing the study of migrations and diversifications of tropical flora during and after the thermal maximum of the Paleocene-Eocene limit (PETM). I am working on French (Paris Basin) and Chinese (Yunnan and Tibet) deposits which allows me to address biogeographical questions at an Eurasian scale. The study of macro-remains, and in particular of fruits and seeds, constitutes the main part of my expertise.
