  • 2017-2018 : Postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, CA, Department of History/Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis (CESTA), Digital Humanities Asia (DHAsia) program. 2012-2017: PhD in History at the Lyons Institute for East Asian Studies (IAO), Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (ENS-Lyon), under the co-supervision of Prof. C. Henriot (AMU, Aix-Marseille) and C. Benedict (Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.). Title: "'Placing the history of advertising': A spatial history of advertising in modern Shanghai (1905-1949)".
  • 2012-2014: Creation and management of the junior research lab "Nhumerisme" devoted to Digital Humanities.

Teaching & Work Experience

  • 2015-2016: Teaching Assistant (ATER) at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, with the Department of History, Master "History & Civilizations". I taught two seminars ("History and Images" and "Spatial approaches to history"). I animated a workshop "Computing and digital tools for historians" and personal tutorials for graduate students.
  • 2012-2014: Teaching Assistant (ACE) at the ENS Lyon for undergraduate and graduate students (ENS and "Classe passerelle" students). I animated various courses and workshops devoted to historical sources and methodology, introduction to Chinese and Asian history, post-colonial studies, history of advertising and consumption, visual and digital history.
  • 2012-2014: Expert for the French Evaluation Agency for Research and Higher Education (AERES/HCERES), Paris: Ecole Nationale des Chartes (2012-2013) and Ecole d'Architecture de Versailles (2013-2014).
