Scientific fields
Plant biology - Ecology from individual to community - Population genetics, Phylogeny, Genomics – Biological invasions and Biological control
Research
My work focuses on the study of interactions between plants and their biotic (facilitation, cooperation, mutualism, parasitism) and abiotic (water) environments in a context of global change (climate change and biological invasions).
I am currently developing my research on: (i) the trees response of drought, in terms of strategies and phenotypic plasticity, with a view to selecting the most suitable genotypes for forestry; (ii) the relationships between trees and their endophytic microbiota in the global response to water stress; (iii) the facilitation/cooperation relationships between plants according to their kinship under water stress conditions; (iv) the dynamics and dispersal capacity of invasive plant species.
