Research Interests
Simplified mechanical modelling of cracks and interlayer delamination in multilayer structures(analytical and
numerical solutions); bi-layers lab test for the determination of debonding initiation and propagation criteria; Contribution in the developments of Engineer tools; Assessments of modelling predictions on full-scale accelerated tests for future (urban and smart) pavement structures.

- 2019-21: Co-chair of the 6th International Conference on Accelerated Pavement Testing (September 27-29, 2021, Nantes – France - LNCE, Vol. 96 ) co-sponsorized by TRB (AFD40 committee )
- From 03/2011 to 12/2017: Deputy chair of the RILEM TC 241-MCD on "Mechanisms of Cracking and Debonding in asphalt and composite Pavement" and Chair of the 8th RILEM International Conference of Mechanisms of Cracking and Debonding (MCD) in Pavements (June 7-9 2016, Nantes – France)
