Professeure Armelle BAEZA-SQUIBAN


Professor of cell biology, environmental toxicology at the University of Paris. Working for many years on the toxicity of inhaled particles (fine particles, ultrafine particles, manufactured nanoparticles) with a focus on in vitro approaches. Development of advanced culture models of bronchial and alveolar epithelia. Research aims to identify the mechanisms of action of particles (uptake, oxidative stress, pro-inflammatory response) and the physico-chemical determinants of particles involved in their effects.
