CV Antonio Picozzi


Antonio Picozzi a effectué sa thèse à l’Université de Nice dans le cadre des effets non linéaires résonnants à trois ondes de type Brillouin ou Raman stimulés. Après un post-doc de 18 mois à l’ULB (Bruxelles) sur les interactions non linéaires quadratiques, il a été recruté Maître de Conférences à l’Université de Nice en 1999. C’est à partir de ce moment qu’il a commencé à travailler sur l’optique non linéaire avec des ondes incohérentes. Il a obtenu un poste de chercheur au CNRS dans l’équipe SLCO de Dijon en 2005. La thématique optique non linéaire incohérente a pu mûrir, en particulier avec l’élaboration d’une formulation thermodynamique hors-équilibre de l’optique non linéaire statistique (turbulence d’ondes à longue portée en analogie avec les systèmes gravitationnels et le formalisme de Vlasov, thermalisation et condensation d’ondes non linéaires en analogie avec la théorie cinétique des gaz, solitons spectraux incohérents en analogie avec la turbulence faible de Langmuir en plasma, inhibition de la thermalisation en relation avec la problématique Fermi-Pasta-Ulam, ou l’impact du désordre structurel du milieu de propagation sur la turbulence d’ondes). A. Picozzi est auteur de plus de 100 articles dans des revues à comité de lecture (en particulier 25 articles publiés à PRL, PRX, Nature Physics- Photonics-Communications), de plus de 80 conférences invitées et a été promu Directeur de Recherche CNRS en 2013.
