[Andrea Tettamanzi](http://www.i3s.unice.fr/~tettaman/ "Andrea G. B. Tettamanzi's Home Page") is a full professor at the [University of Nice Sophia Antipolis](http://www.unice.fr) since September 2012. His research affiliation is with the [Wimmics research team](http://wimmics.inria.fr/) (a joint research team of the [I3S Laboratory](http://www.i3s.unice.fr) and [INRIA](http://www.inria.fr/)) and his teaching affiliation is with the [Département Informatique](http://deptinfo.unice.fr/). His major research interests are: evolutionary algorithms, fuzzy logic, and soft computing (or computational intelligence) in general; recently, he has also engaged in research on the logical foundations of cognitive agents. From November 2002 to August 2012, he was an associate professor at the [University of Milan](http://www.unimi.it/). From 1998 to 2002, he was an assistant professor at the [University of Milan](http://www.unimi.it/). **Note:** the publications deposited in HAL (and appearing below) are only those published after his arrival at the [University of Nice Sophia Antipolis](http://www.unice.fr).
