Research interest: Music of speech
I am a CNRS research scientist (Chargée de Recherche) at the Laboratoire Parole et Langage (CNRS & Aix-Marseille Université) in Aix-en-Provence, France. I work on prosody (i.e, the music of language) and I use acoustic analysis, behavioral methods and electrophysiological measures to investigate how speakers perceive and use prosody to understand language.
I am currently the coordinator of :
- the LPL research team [Sound to Sense](https://www.lpl-aix.fr/recherche/equipes/s2s//) (co-leader with S. Dufour)
- the ANR JCJC research project FRENCHMELO "FRENCH MELOdy in language understanding: from native language processing to the acquisition of foreign languages" (ANR-23-CE28-0021-01; 2024-2028; 210.974€; PI)
- the A* Midex Blanc research project PROSOLANG "Using PROSOdy to improve foreign LANGuage learning" (AMX-22-RE-AB-178; 2024-2028; 174.339€; PI)
